Apples Brown and caster sugar Oats Flour Butter Cinnamon Cornflour Baking powder Salt Maple syrup

Ingredients

Melt butter and maple syrup slowly over a low heat.  Chop apples into small chunks. Set both aside.

Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cornflour and salt. Mix in both sugars and oats.

Stir melted butter mixture into flour and oats mixture.  Mix in chopped apples.

Form into 15 balls, place on a lined backing sheet and bake for 20 mins until golden.  Leave to cool.
